TPK8 Principal Dondi Luce Honored with Statewide Gifted Education Award!

Dondi Luce, principal of Twin Peaks K–8, was named the recipient of the 2026 Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented (AAGT) Dr. James T. Webb Friend of the Gifted Award. This prestigious award recognizes individuals and organizations that demonstrate exceptional advocacy, partnership, and commitment to advancing gifted education across Arizona.

Presented annually, the Dr. James T. Webb Friend of the Gifted Award honors those who consistently support AAGT’s mission and vision. Past recipients have included parents, community members, policymakers, business leaders, and media representatives who have worked to elevate awareness, promote appropriate funding, and expand opportunities for gifted and talented students statewide.

The AAGT Awards Committee expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Luce’s unwavering support and advocacy for gifted learners.
