Thanks to the support of the community for voting yes to expand Marana Schools, in fall 2025, Marana Unified School District will open its third K-8 school in the district. Located in the Gladden Farms neighborhood at Clark Farms and Mike Etter Boulevards, Tangerine Farms K-8 will accommodate up to 800 students.
The new K-8 is currently being constructed, and attendance boundaries were approved by the MUSD Governing Board in September 2024. The school is located in Gladden Farms in northwest Marana, an area of town experiencing tremendous growth, at 10300 W. Mike Etter Blvd Marana, AZ 85653.

Tangerine Farms K-8 School is located in North Marana off of Tangerine Road, on the corner of Clark Farms and Mike Etter Boulevards. The new school will accommodate up to 800 students.
Dr. Streeter discussed Prop 411 and the two new schools coming to MUSD, Marana Vista Academy (Formerly iChoose Academy) and the new K-8 in Gladden Farms, on the Local Marana Podcast.
The new 98,000 square foot K8 school in Gladden Farms has the foundation poured and construction is moving right along.
New K8 School boundary and attendance area has been reviewed, and approved by the MUSD Governing Board in October 2024.
In accordance with A.R.S. §15-341(37), families who reside within the area affected by the proposed Estes Elementary, Gladden Farms Elementary, and the new Gladden Farms K-8 attendance boundary changes will receive notice of the new boundaries via U.S. mail in September, 2024.
Previously Mr. Singer was the principal of Quail Run Elementary and Thornydale Elementary School.
