Notice for New Boundaries

In August 2025, the Marana Unified School District will open a new K-8 School at 10300 W Mike Etter Blvd., Marana, Arizona, 85653. This school is made possible through the voter-supported Capital Improvement School Bond.

In accordance with A.R.S. §15-341(37), families who reside within the area affected by the proposed attendance boundary change will receive notice via U.S. mail in September, 2024.

The proposal would change the schools serving the area from Gladden Farms Elementary and Estes Elementary to the new Gladden Farms K8 school. Students currently attending Gladden Farms Elementary and Estes Elementary would have the choice to attend the new K-8 School or remain at their current school through the open enrollment process.

The Governing Board will have an item on their meeting agenda on Thursday, October 10, 2024, regarding the proposed attendance boundaries for the new K8 School. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm at the Marana Municipal Complex, 11555 W. Civic Drive in Marana, Arizona 85653.

Prior to the Governing Board meeting, families are invited to attend an Informational Public Meeting to hear details of the boundary proposal, meet the Principal, and have an opportunity to provide feedback regarding this topic. The Informational Meeting will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2024 at 6:00pm at Marana Middle School (library) , 11285 W. Grier Rd. Marana, AZ 85653.
