On Friday, January 31st, we celebrated our January Students of the Month. This event recognized outstanding students for their achievements and contributions.
Students Riley Blank and Lucas Schroeder attended ABODA All-State Jazz auditions over the weekend. MVHS is very proud of them for representing the excellent Mountain View Band Program at such a high level, and we are inspired by their professionalism and musicianship each and every day.
Middle school students were inducted into the Twin Peaks Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society on Friday, October 25, 2024. Students were invited to join for exhibiting the characteristics of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship.

Congratulations to Jasmine Jankowski for being selected as one of the winners for the AZ529 Essay Contest. She received $529 from the Office of the Arizona State Treasurer towards her own AZ529 Education Savings Plan for her essay entitled, "My Dream Job." The award was presented by Treasurer Kimberly Yee. Twin Peaks is so proud of Jasmine for this accomplishment!
Marana Middle School girls' softball teams are dominating this season! Both the seventh and eighth grade teams won the Northwest League softball championship games!!

Twin Peaks K-8 is PawsitivelyProud of Tyler Mann for being named one of the Top 300 Junior Innovators in the nation for his engineering project entitled, "Converting an Ornamental Windmill into a Wind Turbine" submitted to the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge.
To qualify, students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and score within the top 10% of PSAT/NMSQT test takers in the state.
Mrs. Knickerbocker was awarded a $2000 American Academy of Dermatology Grant, where more than 300 students will receive hands-on learning about skin care and the sun!
