Terms of the Device Loan
Updated

The Chromebook is the property of the Marana Unified School District.  The device is provided for students to enhance learning experiences and as a tool for accessing educational content.

  • MUSD Chromebook Parent and Student Contract and MUSD Acceptable Use Policy IJNDB-EB must be digitally signed by the student and parent each year.
  • School administration can review all files, data, messages, and email at any time with or without notice.
  • Parents and students will take full responsibility for the care of the device and any accessories.  If at any point during the school year there is damage, loss, or theft of a Chromebook, the student must contact the administration immediately.
  • Chromebook, charger and other issued materials must be returned at the end of each school year in good condition, as evaluated by school officials.  If a student is checked out a Chromebook and fails to return it and all assigned accessories as directed, the District may file a report with local law enforcement, in addition to seeking reimbursement from the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s).
