Interscholastic activities play an integral part of a student's overall educational experience.
These activities teach our students values such as commitment, discipline, hard work, leadership, teamwork, and physical fitness; all of which are a foundation for academic success. Participation in athletic activities contributes to the physical, emotional, and social health of our students.
Today's literature on youth sports stresses the positive effects of participation in learning the important life skills of goal setting and time management combined with enjoyment; the development of a strong sense of morality; and the development of an appreciation of diversity.
