Estes GEM Students Study Engineering with Dyson Box

Mrs. Jones’ 3rd Grade GEM Students at Estes Elementary had an amazing opportunity to explore the engineering process using an Engineering Box from the James Dyson Foundation.  “The Engineering Box is a free resource that unpacks Dyson technology, harnessing young people's curiosity for how things work”. Mrs. Jones coordinated this opportunity for her students with the support of the James Dyson Foundation. Mrs. Jones values hands-on experimentation and innovation. She encourages her students to take educational risks, follow their passions and to learn the benefits of failure.
