Apply for free or reduced-price school meals ONLINE July 15
MUSD is pleased to announce the availability of applying for free or reduced-price school meals online starting Monday, July 15 for the 2019-2020 school year!
The process is SAFE, SECURE, PRIVATE, and available anytime. Quick processing and no more paper applications to complete and return. Convenient and good for the environment as well!
To apply for free or reduced-price meals, an adult household member needs to complete a Household Application online (En Espanol - Solicitar Comidas Hoy) OR a paper Household Application to determine eligibility. One application may be used to list all children in the household.
- All families must reapply for free or reduced meals each year.
- Applications are also available at your child’s school office.
Eligibility is determined by household size and income criteria. Children from households whose income is at or below the levels set by the USDA Child Nutrition Program are eligible. Foster children that are under the legal responsibility of a foster care agency or court are eligible for free meals regardless of income and should be included on your application. All children in households receiving benefits from SNAP, the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations or TANF, can get free meals regardless of your income.
Families are also offered a safe secure easy online payment center to monitor and add monies to their child’s food services account. This easy, convenient, and secure online payment system is available through Titan School Solutions.
