Twin Peaks’ Students Win SARSEF Grand Awards!

Students from across the region competed in the annual Southern Arizona Regional Science and Engineering Fair (SARSEF).  Students used the scientific method to complete projects in science, technology, engineering, and math.  Local judges chose ten projects to compete at SARSEF.  The following two Twin Peaks’ students placed at SARSEF:

  • Kiliana Jones:  SARSEF Grand Award, First Place in Chemical Sciences for “Want Fresh Bananas?”
  • Rebecca Boyle:  Awarded $250 Prize from the Sonoran Desert Museum in Animal and Plant for “Hibernation Determination”

These two students also received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from U.S. Senator Martha McSally.  Congratulations to these young scientists!  You are the PRIDE of Twin Peaks!
