Principal Dr. Luce Receives ASA Higher Education Division Outstanding Dissertation Award

Dr. Luce with Academic Advisor Dr. John Taylor The University of Arizona has awarded Dr. Dondi Luce the Arizona School Administrators (ASA) Higher Education Division Outstanding Dissertation Award.  Dr. Luce was nominated for this award by her academic advisor, Dr. John Taylor, and will present her dissertation, entitled, “The Role of the Principal in Developing a Climate of Academic Optimism in Public Elementary Schools Serving Students from Low-Income Family Households” at the ASA Conference in June.  Dr. Luce is pictured with her family and academic advisor at the University of Arizona College of Education Graduation in December.
