Marana High School Early Childhood Education students head to FCCLA national conference!

Congratulations to Marana High School Early Childhood Education students who claimed one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) 2019 State Leadership Conference held on April 15-17, 2019. Of these wins, one team consisting of two students qualified for the 2019 FCCLA National Leadership Conference, June 30-July 4, 2019 in Anaheim, CA.


During the state conference, Arizona’s finest high school members engaged in over 70 different STAR Competitive Events against 1100 students over three days. These STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) events recognize members for proficiency and achievement in projects, leadership skills and occupational preparation. FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education. FCCLA is the Ultimate Leadership Experience!
