MHS Earn Top Honors at State Math Competition

 IMAGE: MHS Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Chapter  Congratulations Marana High School Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Chapter who placed 1st in a Regional Mathematics competition at St. Augustine High School held on February 13, 2020. Marana High students competed against six schools and earned top honors!

Mu Alpha Theta, the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society, provides a method for schools to recognize and encourage students who enjoy and excel in mathematics; organizes a national convention for students and teachers to participate in math-related events and interact with others from across the country and rewards outstanding extracurricular achievement by offering special awards, scholarships, and grants to students and their faculty advisers.
