IMAGE: MHS Football players sit at a table conversing with Veterans. Members of the Marana High School Football Team spent an amazing afternoon with U.S. Veterans at the Southern AZ VA Health Care System’s South West Blind Rehabilitation Center on Aug 17, 2019. The center is made up of students who are learning how to navigate the world with loss of vision.

Players provided an Ice Cream Social and then played games like corn hole. Players also spent quality time talking to and learning about, the Veterans. Many of the Veterans are from other states and have no family to come visit them.

Veterans had such a good time that The South West Blind Rehabilitation Center they extended an open invitation for them to return!

We are proud of our Tigers for their continued commitment to community involvement.
