Advanced Placement Courses at Marana High School and Mountain View High School were recently recognized by The College Board 9th Annual AP District Honor Roll!  The District’s AP program is 1 of 5 school districts in Arizona and one of 373 in the U.S. and Canada recognized for their commitment to increasing access to Advanced Placement courses for underrepresented students while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher!

Marana schools take pride in offering a variety of AP courses which enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. Classes are designed to expose students to the rigorous standards they will face in college, to increase college readiness, and to challenge students through greater research, practical applications, and critical thinking while learning essential time management and study skills needed for college and career success. Students dig deeper into subjects that interest them and learn to tap their creativity and their problem-solving skills to address course changes.
