Congratulations to Mountain View High School senior, Aissa Silva, a left-handed pitcher, who has signed on with the University of Arizona Softball team! 

Aissa has numerous accomplishments achieved during her high school softball career:

• Ranked #6 recruit nationally by Extra Inning Softball
• 2022 NorCal Pitcher of the Year
• 2022 Extra Inning Softball All-American
• 2022 Sports Stars NorCal Softball Player of the Year
• 2022 Sac Bee Player of the Year
• 2022 49ers Sac-Hi Sports Pitcher of the Year
• 2021 PGF All-American
• Two-time All-CIF honoree

"Arizona is my home, and I grew up going to the Arizona Softball games, so it has always been my dream to go to the U of A since I was young. I love the dedicated fans and the environment is beyond amazing," said Aissa.

A signing event was hosted on November 9 at Mountain View.
