Treasures 4 Teachers of Tucson, a local non-profit that provides educators with free to low-cost, hands-on learning materials and supplies, has stepped up to support all Marana Schools teachers and staff. Along with support from the Kids in Need Foundation, Treasures 4 Teachers donated 6,000 packs of Lysol disinfectant wipes – totaling 1,000 boxes and spanning eight pallets.
Adrienne Ledford, the Director of Treasures 4 Tucson, is a longtime supporter of Marana schools. Her goals was to donate enough disinfectant wipes to ensure teachers, custodians, health team members and staff across District/School classrooms and offices had an adequate supply for the year. This meant providing enough wipes for 18 sites and schools.
“By supplying teachers and staff members with quality disinfectant wipes, our hope is that they will not have to skimp on resources needed to help keep their rooms clean and safe for the students,” Ms. Ledford said.
Treasures 4 Teachers is active in supporting Marana teachers and students through numerous efforts throughout the year. Previously, the organization donated 1,500 books to Quail Run Elementary School as well as a variety of school supplies to supplement classrooms at the start of the school year.
Thank you, Treasures 4 Teachers for your generous donation and partnership supporting all educators, staff and students!
