Thanks to amazing community supporters, Estes students have more opportunities to participate in band and learn how to play a new instrument! Led by the Kiwanis Club of the Desert, community supporters including the Monterey Café, Chicago Music Store, a sister Kiwanis Club and Peter Dalton Ronstadt & the Company, raised nearly $8,400, which was used to purchase clarinets, saxophones, drums, cellos, violins, instrument supplies and cleaners, and more! Seventeen instruments and supplies were presented during a school assembly on October 28.

The Desert Kiwanis were inspired by sixth grade Estes student, Grace Albrecht, who launched a successful bracelet fundraiser last year to buy instruments for fellow classmates.
