The Marana Unified School District (MUSD) invites the public to view the following high school textbooks prior to possible adoption and use at Marana High School and Mountain View High School. Members of MUSD’s District Instructional Leadership Team are evaluating the textbooks Give Me Liberty! An American History AP for use in the AP History U.S./Arizona course and America A Narrative History Brief 11E Volume 1 and America A Narrative History Brief 11E Volume 2 for use in the History of the United States I (PCC) and History of the United States II (PCC) courses.

The textbooks are available for public viewing Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. beginning June 3, 2022 through August 1, 2022. The textbooks can be viewed at the Marana Unified School District Office of Learners, Leaders and Innovators 11290 W. Grier Rd., Suite 121C, Marana, Arizona 85653. The public is required to follow social distancing, per Pima County mandate, and to wear face coverings when within six feet of others or when social distancing is not possible. No more than ten people will be within the viewing area at any one time.
